Emergency Medicine Journal is an international peer reviewed journal covering pre-hospital and hospital emergency medicine, and critical care. The journal publishes original research, evidence-based reviews and commentaries on resuscitation, trauma, minor injuries, disaster preparedness and response, toxicology, acute medical and paediatric emergencies, diagnostic testing, teaching, clinical operations, decision making and reflections on clinical practice. The journal is aimed at doctors, nurses, paramedics and ambulance staff.

999 EMS Research Forum 2024

999 EMS Research Forum Annual Research Conference 2024 took place 17-18 September 2024 in Cambridge, UK. The Annual Research Conference produced in association with East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), PRIME Centre Wales and The National Ambulance Research Steering Group (NARSG). This year's theme was ‘recognising progress, developing the future'.

This event is in its 27^th year and attracts UK and international delegates including early career researchers, paramedics, paramedic researchers, academics, R&D officers, CRN, patient and public contributors, medical students and other clinical staff.
